Meet ECO TED!
Our pre-schoolers have a very special helper – Eco Ted! This cuddly friend travels home with a different child each week, ready to join in on family adventures that help care for our planet. Children are encouraged to share eco-friendly activities they do together, such as recycling, or walking instead of driving, planting flowers, or caring for nature.
When Eco Ted returns to Pre-school, the children proudly can tell their friends about their green adventures, inspiring everyone to make small changes that make a big difference and become an Eco-Warrior!

Meet MOO MUSIC!
Moo Music is an interactive music and movement programme for young children that uses songs, dance, instruments, and imaginative play to support early learning and development. Sessions help children build confidence, communication, coordination, listening skills, and social interaction in a fun and engaging environment.
Moo Music joins us at least once per term.

Meet TRY IT TURTLE!
This cuddly friend will be travelling home with one child at a time to help encourage healthy eating and trying new foods. The aim of this activity is to support children in developing a positive attitude towards different foods and to build confidence in tasting something new.
When Try It Turtle visits your home, we encourage your child to involve him at mealtimes or snack times and talk about the foods they are eating. Your child might like to show the turtle a healthy snack, try a new fruit or vegetable, or simply chat about their favourite foods.
Please take a photo or talk with your child about what they tried while the turtle was visiting and share this with us on Famly. Your child can then proudly share their experience with their friends when Try It Turtle returns to Pre-school.

Meet WORRY MONSTER!
Worry Monster Teddy is used in the preschool setting to help children express and manage their worries in a safe, comforting way. Children can talk to the teddy, draw or write down their worries, and “feed” them to the Worry Monster, helping them feel listened to and reassured. This supports children’s emotional wellbeing, confidence, and communication skills while encouraging them to understand and share their feelings. The Worry Monster can also be sent home to provide continuity between preschool and home, giving children and families a familiar tool to support conversations about emotions and worries in a calm and positive way.
Meet ROBOT REG!
Phonics with Robot Reg classes are offered at the preschool by an external provider. These sessions use a play-based approach to support children’s early literacy and communication skills through songs, games, movement, and interactive activities. The classes focus on helping children learn letter sounds, blending and segmenting words, building confidence, improving listening and language skills, and encouraging social interaction in a fun and engaging environment.
